Final Theses

Theses (both bachelor's and master's theses) may focus upon topics pertinent to the research and teachings of Professor Krieger’s group. Final approval of your topic is subject to review by Professor Krieger and his team.

Please submit your written application by the following deadlines: March 1, June 1, September 1, or December 1. You should expect a response within two weeks. Accepted applicants are required to start their theses within three months of acceptance. Guidelines for the thesis can be found here.   

 The application process consists of three stages:

  • Fill in the application form and send it to the Endowed Chair of Constitutional Political Economy and Competition Policy (please attach a current Transcript of Records)
  • Accepted applicants are invited to an initial meeting for further discussion of their topics.
  • Thereafter, please register your thesis following the requirements of the examination office.

A prerequisite for acceptance is proficiency in academic English.

If you wish to write an empirical master thesis, knowledge in empirical methods is required.
